poisonous outdoor plants
Outdoor Plants
Children can see us growing, picking and eating plants in a garden, and not understand that everything isn't safe to eat. Young ones must be watched carefully and older ones taught to ask before eating anything that they don't know is safe. The following list contains garden plants, trees and shrubs known to cause problems if eaten, or sometimes, if they come in contact with skin. Some are much more serious than others.
The flowing is a list of some plants that can be dangerous. If you are ever unsure of a plant or it’s properties then call you local poison centre immediately.
